Used this for fitting floating shelves and a curtain pole in our Victorian terrace. The green beam was much easier to see than the old red unit I borrowed before, and the included tripod made the whole job far less fiddly.
Arrived quickly, well packed and charged via USB-C straight out of the box. I used it to line up kitchen wall units and it saved a lot of time compared with spirit levels and pencil marks everywhere.
I renovate rental flats on the side and wanted something practical rather than paying DeWalt money for every tool. The self-levelling feature is reliable, and the beam is clear enough for tiling and bathroom cabinet alignment.
Very good value and the tripod is genuinely useful for skirting and dado rail height. My only small criticism is that in bright midday sun you do need to be realistic about visibility, but indoors it is excellent.
I was comparing this with a huepar laser level and glad I took a chance. For the money, getting the tripod and USB-C charging included makes it feel like a much smarter buy for DIY and decorating.
